Redfish Lake Destination Wedding

Redfish Lake Destination Wedding was a wonderful adventure.  A beautiful elopement at Redfish Lake Lodge. I first met with Ashley the first part of March. We sat and visited for quite a while. Her and her new Husband Johnathan have been together a total of 11 years before their wedding day this last Saturday.  They first met in HAWAII while they were both living there. They have two beautiful children together and were ready to tie the knot and make it official! Their very very intimate ceremony took place at Redfish Lake outside of Stanley Idaho.

This was my first elopement wedding and I must say I need to experience more of them.  The four of them with their closest family members made for a very special day.  Redfish Lake is about 3.5 hours from the valley and well worth the drive. The Sawtooth Mountains, they are nothing short of remarkable. The high peaks and beauty made for perfect setting to marry the love of your life.  The ceremony was on the sand with the lake less than 5 feet way.  Only fitting for them to get married on the sand with water in the background seems they did meet in paradise. Ashley got ready in this cabin that was so rustic and beautiful.

Beautiful Setting Wonderful Vendors

Her flowers were brought in from Ketchum and were remarkable. Super vibrate and bright summer flowers. The flower arch topped off ceremony location.  The weather was wild before and during the ceremony. So beyond windy! Then as soon as it was over it was dead calm again Ashley had lost someone very close to her this last November. I’d like to think that was his way of showing how excited he was for the two of them to tie the knot.  We finished off the amazing day with some of the best food I have had! Redfish Lake Lodge knows how to do good food.  It was so nice of them to have me for dinner and cake.

I could not have asked for a better way to spend my Saturday. I hope they have a fabulous time on their family honeymoon.  Congratulations to wonderful couple and their family. I totally felt like a member of the family!
