Micheal and Chelsea reached out to me fall while they were planning their Colorful Wedding at Fox Canyon Vineyard. This couple was so fun to work with. I knew their wedding would be no different. Fox Canyon Vineyards is one of my favorite venues here in Idaho. If you want to see some of the other weddings I have photographed there click HERE and HERE. We did Micheal and Chelsea’s engagements in the fall just as the leaves were changing up at Bogus Basin. I do not shoot often up there so it was fun to explore the area. This Colorful Wedding at Fox Canyon Vineyard had so many unique non traditional elements about it and I loved them all. The bride’s dream was since she was younger to let her hidden goth side come out in a BEAUTIFUL black wedding dress. This was a first for me and I have to say I loved the look and it showcased her personality and what she had envisioned. The couple did a first look where they shared their vows to one another privately. This was so special and one of my favorite moments during their celebration.
Fox Canyon Vineyards has the best view. The ceremony site overlooks the snake river, you can’t beat that backdrop. The couple said I Do in front of their closest friends and family who came to celebrate the day with them. The rest of the evening was full of laughter and emotional toasts. The couple did the more traditional elements of the reception. They danced their first dances, did a bouquet toss and finished out the evening with cake cutting. I did steal them away for some golden hour photos. The dresses that Chelsea chose to wear were beautiful and fun. This couple had a great time celebrating with their guests and enjoying being married. Congratulations to this amazing couple.
