Emmalee and Sam’s Backyard Wedding
Emmalee and Sam’s Utah wedding and Bridals at Alta Ski Area was remarkable. I had the pleasure of being a part Emmalee and Sam’s wedding this past weekend. It was a very special wedding to me. I met the bride back in 2015 when I had the pleasure of taking her senior photos, she was one very first senior shoots I had done. It’s been so neat to see her grow up into a beautiful young lady. When I found out she was getting married I knew I just had to try and convince her to let me come to Utah to do her photos. I am so glad she did not take much convincing. Not to mention she made the most beautiful bride. She even did her own hair and makeup! Talk about a talented bride.
Wedding Details
Her wedding took place at her husband’s parents house. No detail was left unattended. Succulent centerpieces to well thought out decorations. I just love succulents however for some reason I cannot seem to keep them alive for the life of me!!! You know the impossible plant to kill well let me tell you I am living proof. I wish I had more of a green thumb. She even make cute wedding favors that had a succulent to take home. Everyone pitched in and made this a wonderful wedding! One of my favorite parts of the day was the first look. I literally watched as Sam was nervous as can be to see his bride to be. He was literally shaking in his shoes!
He was very surprised when he turned around and saw his dad standing before him in a dress! I just loved it and his reaction to it. However his reaction to seeing his bride for the very first time as her dad walked her down the aisle was beautiful. Their wedding was full of joy and laughter even with cake smeared all over their face. It was one of the best first looks that I have ever captured. Not to mention he was a good sport!
Alta Ski Area Bridals
Emmalee had asked me a week or two before to do bridals early Sunday morning before I had to head back to Idaho. I could not say no to that! One more chance to get these two love birds in front of the camera. When she said early she met EARLY! We were up in the mountains before 730. I had always dreamed of doing SUNRISE photos in a dreamy location and this did not disappoint. I had such a hard time choosing which photos to put on this post.
