Boise’s Lucky Peak Elopement: Nick and Jessica’s Special Day. It was Intimate with a total of 12 of their closest family and friends. Nick and Jessica are both newcomers to the Boise area relocating for work just a few years ago. They met, hit it off, and now have the cutest little puppy, whom I was sad not to meet. I am a total dog person, partly because I am so allergic to cats.
Lucky Peak is nestled just outside of the boise area. It is the largest reservoir around. It offers stunning rolling hills or as I call it the Mountains of idaho. Jessica found another elopement that I did there and just loved the vibe. It’s desert-like landscape with beautiful blooming sagebrush and even better a pretty lake feel just 15 minutes outside of a major metropolitan area made it a no-brainer choice for the backdrop of this intimate elopement. It’s been a HOT July so the elopement took place at 10 in the morning to help avoid the hottest part of the day and also less traffic on the water.
Boise’s Lucky Peak Elopement: Nick and Jessica’s Special Day
What is wonderful about an elopement is that it is uniquely yours and these elements shined through. Jessica’s dress was beautiful, non-traditional and best of all sparkly. Her elegant bouquet and Nicks tux really made this all about elegant details in a fun setting. We have had a month of fires here in Idaho so the smoke haze added a bit of defused mid-day sun and helped keep the temperatures cool. The ceremony was quick with the couple exchanging personal vows and ended with a sweet kiss to seal the deal. Congratulations Nick and Jessica on a new adventure and many more to come.
