Bogus Basin Fall Mountain Engagement Session, Stela had contacted me a couple of weeks ago. Jace is a wildfire fighter and he happened be in town for an engagement session.  We met and chatted about their wedding and about their story as a couple. My favorite part of the whole process! They both have a love for the mountains. Since Bogus will still be under construction when they will be getting married they opted to do their engagement photos up there.  I had have only had the opportunity to head up that way one time before and it was during the winter months, I was super excited to see it in the fall.

We arrived to our first location where we literally scaled the side of the mountain to get up to some amazing views and fall colors.  Stela was a rockstar literally in a dress and dressy boots! It was so worth it! The huge boulders and beautiful colors made for some very pretty photos. The second spot we stopped was just a little ways up the road. Again the views and the colors could not be beat. I loved that they trusted me and my eye and were totally alright with standing on the side of the highway literally!

We continued our journey up past the resort. Everywhere we ventured we found such pretty fall colors. I literally called my husband afterwards and told him I am ready to move to the mountains! The air is crisp and clean we even got to see some of the first snowfall that had come the day before!

I am so thankful that I was able to meet this wonderful couple and I so enjoyed our afternoon together and exploring the beauty that nature brings us in the fall season!  Cheers to Jace and Stela I am so looking forward to your wedding!
