Willow Creek Wedding Venue
Bring your wedding vision to life at Willow Creek Wedding Venue. Nestled under a canopy of cottonwood, maple, spruce, oak, and of course, the willows along the stream that give us our name is the venue at Willow Creek. This outdoor event venue sits on the edge of fifteen acres, an elegant surprise tucked away at the end of a quarter-mile tree-lined drive. It is located in the small community of Middleton, Idaho. I have been photographing weddings for eight years now. I honestly can’t keep up with all the new and upcoming wedding venues around the Boise area. However this wedding venue warrants a blog post for a couple of reasons. Hear me out on this one! I picked up a last minute second shooting gig for someone who’s shooter was sick and couldn’t make it. (Literally my worst nightmare.) It was posted that they needed a photographer in Middleton. It was close to my house and being the second photographer is fun for me. 9 times out of 10 I never even look at the images. However this time was different because I have not had the opportunity of photographing at this venue. Now I just wish it wasn’t dark and rainy. I would love to see this venue on a sunny day!!
The Grounds
The grounds at Willow Creek are kept so well. It’s manicured and beautiful. It’s a photographer’s dream really. There are so many unique spots for photos. My favorite was the path above the ceremony site. It is lined with beautiful pine trees. It looks like you are on a dirt road in the middle of the mountains. The farm field across from the house is very pretty as well. It really gives you so much variety for your photos.
The Ceremony Site
A designated area curated for wedding ceremonies. It has an elevated stage built into a landscaped terrace wall and our namesake Willow Creek as the backdrop. Simple landscaping allows for your wedding colors and style to shine. The elevation is also very nice for the wedding party and the guests to view the ceremony.
The Reception Space
Includes a 900 square foot raised deck with railing and pergola, a large grassy area surrounded by manicured landscaping and a canopy of trees, a smaller, separate grassy area for games, a large fire pit, and bistro string lights. This space really is very well thought out and your guests will have fun playing the yard games and dancing the night away. This year they have added a concrete circular dance floor just adding to the overall aesthetic of the space.
My Take on Willow Creek Wedding Venue
I was very pleasantly surprised with how much Willow Creek Wedding Venue has to offer and it is very affordable. Well worth the drive out to check out this venue. Truly a hidden gem in the sea of wedding venues in the Boise, Idaho area. It really is a remarkable space. Your wedding will truly feel like a private event.
