Say yes to a Boise Forest bridal session. I photographed this couple’s wedding at the Vintage Rose in Nampa, Idaho in the late summer months of 2025. To see their beautiful elegant wedding click HERE. Wedding days no matter how laid back they are still are a lot to take in. This couple reached out shortly after their wedding to see about scheduling bridals with a scenic landscape. I knew just the spot and they were all in. It did entail a short walk along a trail to get to this magical spot. The light was beautiful and the view was even better. There are many benefits to a bridal session. I will never turn down the chance. It’s an opportunity to photograph a bride and groom in a zero-stress environment.
Fun Boise Forest Bridal Session
Instead of writing a huge long post about this session I just wanted to leave these beautiful images here. One thing I must suggest that went so well during this session was one pay for professional makeup. It makes a world of difference in the photos. Second, bring some champagne. It always makes for some fun photos.
What to bring to a Bridal Session
Bring a comfortable pair of shoes and carry your fancy shoes and change when you arrive at the location. You can always bring a friend to help you along the way if you will be carrying shoes and things. Bring a bouquet of flowers. You carry flowers on your wedding day and carry them for your bridals. If you need help finding another bouquet, I can totally recommend some florists. They are amazingly talented and would be happy to make you a bouquet. Ladies wear a jacket. Chances are it might be a little chilly depending on the time of year and weather. You’ll be glad you have it. Also bring some clothes to change into after the session. Let’s face it wedding dresses are not that comfortable so a change of clothes will be nice. Lastly, go to dinner after. You are all dolled up I suggest making a date night out of it.
