Madeline and Rob’s fun and vibrate backyard wedding in Boise, Idaho was not your traditional wedding. I loved it there were so many special moments throughout the day that made this wedding an epic backyard bash. These two got married in Madeline’s grandma’s backyard. I am pretty positive she was not the first to do this. You definitely tell that grandma has had a few weddings back there. The details were planned out perfectly. They brought rentals and completely transformed the property.
Small moments and lots of laughs
Madeline got ready in this beautiful sunroom that she played in as a child. So many sentimental parts of this day. Grandma was there for all the fun. The couple chose to do a first look. I love it when couples do a first look. It really allows their emotions to flow freely without a huge audience. It also allows for 80 percent of the formal photos to take place before the wedding. We got to do all the family formals, bridal party and a few couples portraits. This makes for so much less stress after the ceremony.   Â

The rest of the day was full of laughs and tears. The ceremony was short and intentional; it was full of emotions and laughs. We were able to sneak away for some sunset photos with a beautiful classic truck to add some flare. The couple headed back to listen to the thoughtful toasts and dance the night away. It truly was a remarkable day. I eat a lot of wedding food and let me tell you these family members know how to cook. They were there smoking the meat and cooking when I arrived in the early afternoon.
