This beautiful spring wedding at Barber Park in Boise was a wonderful day. The day was full of emotion. There were happy tears, and joyish laughter and sincerity. I met Ashely several years back during a wedding I photographed during Covid . Her good friend was getting married and I had the honor of photographing it. When I saw that she was getting married. I was honored when she reached out to me to photograph her wedding.
Barber Park sits right along the Boise River which is beautiful in the spring time and fits right along with Ashley’s details. Her wedding colors were light blue with a hint of orange. The decor was elegant and simple and fit beautifully with the aesthetic of the venue. The weather in Boise was definitely showing all it’s glory. Clouds, wind, even a downpour of rain finished off the evening with some sun.
Ashely and Ryan got married outside with a beautiful ceremony setup. They even shared a moment and washed each other’s feet. There were lots of laughs and tears of happiness as this couple along with their closest friends and family watched them say I Do.
Spring Wedding at Barber Park in Boise Idaho
The reception was a party complete with a Conga Line and involved nearly everyone! The sun peaked out from behind the clouds where it was hiding all day we grabbed a few couples portraits. It is always such a nice break to sneak away for the reception fun. Ashely and Ryan ended the evening with a private last dance. Then they ran through bubbles to enjoy their evening. These are definitely becoming more popular and I am seeing more and more of them and they are a fun dramatic way to exit a wedding. Cheers to this couple and the sweet love they have for each other. As they walk through life with their faith beside them I can not wait to see where life takes them.
