TJ and Allysn had a very intimate vow renewal ceremony at beautiful Waters Edge Event Center. The ceremony took place this last Thursday in front of their closets friends and family in Eagle Idaho. Allysn contacted me almost 9 months ago. She was in the middle of her last semester of college and student teaching. Planning a wedding and student teaching! You go girl that was hard especially with all of the small details that went into the wedding. I was truly amazing at how much thought and creativity went into the small details. Day of wedding planning was done by the incredible Diane Pugmire Events
The Back Story
TJ and Allysn met in high school. They actually attended prom together! I am pretty positive it was a blind date! They both have attended college and Allysn was charge of the symbol line in the BSU band! From what I gather she was in charge of wrangling up all the students that played the symbols! TJ is currently working on finishing up his degree and is doing his last clinical. They were married last February in a very small ceremony. Allysn always wanted a wedding so they decided to have a ceremony so that their family and friends could be there to celebrate!
The Details
This bride thought of every detail. She took in account her husband’s love for the classic Nintendo games. Their boutonnieres had coins attached to them and the groomsman’s ties were made out of Perler beads to look like they were out of an old school game. The tables were themed in characters such as Yosi, Princess Peach and Daisy. Speaking of Daisy I totally didn’t know her name and my daughter did! Go figure! TJ’s favorite is Spiderman and he made an appearance twice…Once in the Groom’s socks and once on the cake.
Allysn made the bouquets and put personal touches on her bridesmaid’s robes.
Her bouquet had her late father’s photo close to her in a locket so he could be a part of her day. She wore her great grandmother’s pearls and her some of her Aunt’s jewelry that she was named after as her something borrowed and something blue. She even did her own hair and makeup. Everywhere I turned I was finding a small detail that she had put tons of thought into right down to the kids table that had Legos and coloring sheets. All while working full time this year. She’s simple amazing!
The Ceremony
The ceremony was outside and was beautiful. Her three flower girls and their dresses were so pretty. I was able to sneak the couple away to do some bridals. These two complement each other so well. Their joy radiates from them and shines through. I had so much fun. From the dancing to the shoe game and the cake cutting. Even the tribute to her dad! Everyone got on the dance floor and totally ROCKED the YMCA! I am so thankful to have been a part of this special day and capture the memories that were made! Thank you TJ and Allysn I wish you so much happiness and joy with what life brings you!
