Winter Mountain Engagement Session

Winter Mountain engagement session. Alyssa contacted me a couple of weeks ago about photographing her wedding. Her and her future husband to be met in high school and attended college together. Pretty neat to be marring your high school sweetheart. They were both up here for their winter break so it only seemed fitting to do their engagement shoot while they were here.

I have to say Alyssa was a breath of fresh air. She absolutely loved my style. The clean, bright and classic style. These days I feel like there are so many photographers out there with different styles that it’s nice to hear that they loved my true to color edits. It makes showing them the back of the camera during the shoot a little more fun.

She really wanted snow and sadly I feel like this winter in Idaho so far is a bit disappointing. I was determined to find some winter scenes. I finally found a little bit of snow just outside of this small town in Idaho called Idaho City. It’s a curvy road out in the middle of nowhere. I do not think we could have chosen a better setting for their photos. It was absolutely beautiful. When they first arrived we had some nice defused light shining through the otherwise pretty gloomy day.

They did fantastic on their outfits. I was impressed on how well it all coordinated together. Definitely a win in my opinion. I was so glad I got to spend some time with these two. I look forward to their wedding. It will be here before we know it. Idaho Mountains do not disappoint. Thank you for trusting me to capture this special moment and chasing the snow out to a country road the middle of nowhere! boise Idaho photographer, wedding photographer, boise Idaho photographer, wedding photographer, boise Idaho photographer, wedding photographer, engagement Photographerboise Idaho photographer, wedding photographer,Idaho engagement mountain Engagementboise Idaho photographer, wedding photographer, boise Idaho photographer, wedding photographer,Idaho Engagement SessionMountain Engagement SessionMountain Engagement Session

  1. […] The reception was full of dancing, a small cake fight and my favorite sunset photos. Though we didn’t have much light. It was just enough to give a little glow. I’m so thankful I got to be a part of something so special. Thanks to amazing vendors who helped make their vision come true. It was truly a beautiful wedding. 2. […] I am a big fan of Grimes Creek.  I have done a couple winter engagement sessions there.  Click HERE to see one of them.  It is so pretty out there. The big pine trees, a running creek and so much […]
