Idaho mountain engagements in the spring could not have had better weather. When Emily and Brett asked to have their engagements in the mountains I was so excited. Though I wish I was a mountain girl at heart but the more I go the more I appreciate everything about them. Engagements are always fun and they are such a great way to get to know my couples. I absolutely loved getting to know a little bit about these two.
When picking a location
I always ask my couples if there is a location that is meaningful to them and usually we go from there to find the location that fits the look they are hoping to achieve for their photos. Emily had expressed that she and Brett love the mountains and were very familiar with the area so we went for it. They even share some wonderful memories here. I have to say I was glad it was greening up and there was no snow. Last time I was out there it was dumping buckets of rain and the snow was almost knee deep.
I just loved the uniqueness of Emily’s outfits. Can we please talk about her sparkling boots? I mean they had it going on. I loved the character that they added to the shoot. Her nails were also done beautifully. She looked stunning. We mainly just stayed right around the same area for photos it offers so much in terms of different looks, styles and elements. This is one of my favorite locations to photograph. I am so thankful that couples choose me to get to photograph such special moments in their journey together as a couple. I am looking forward to their September.
