Meridian Idaho Temple Winter Wedding
A beautiful Meridian Idaho Temple Wedding during the winter months was breathtaking. There is something MAGICAL about Jared and Alesa’s wedding! Maybe it was the brisk and downright cold weather on both their bridal shoot and wedding day. It could be that they said I do forever! This was my first LDS wedding I have photographed and it was simply beautiful. There is something to be said about the temple grounds. The peacefulness and the quietness of the grounds just makes for a romantic scene all around.
It’s almost like time stopped for these two while we took their pictures. The snow made for a gorgeous backdrop. A few days before their wedding the bride and groom to be had fog on the day of the bridals it was a cool 21 degrees outside and Alesa was a TROOPER she walked all around in the snow in her flats. This gal needs credit because let’s face it I had layer upon lay on both days and huge boots to keep my feet warm. I am so glad she froze for us to get amazing photos.

The Brides bouquet was PERFECT and added the exact amount of pop of color we needed. The bouquet was made by her Mother In-law This wedding was pretty special for me as I was the one who photographed the surprise proposal. It’s been a fun journey to watch as they have planned their wedding.
I wish Jared and Alesa all the best as these two start their new life together. May it be filled with tons of laughter and even more adventure. Congratulations on forever! I can not wait to see all the adventures that life takes you both on. Anyone thinking about having a winter wedding do it! It is so beautiful and worth being a little chilly.
