Cassie and Tyler’s Boise Wedding

Cassie and Tyler’s Boise wedding was a celebration of them becoming Husband and Wife.  She reached out to me quite a while ago to photograph their celebration. They were not having your traditional wedding.  The two of them just wanted to celebrate and have a nice dinner and some dancing with their friends.  

Their wedding Celebration took place at the Capital City Event Center in downtown boise.  I started the day at Hotel 43 where Cassie and her Mom, Sister and Niece. Photographing her stunning details was a breeze she had them all ready for me.  The shoes were definitely a favorite of mine. She also rocked them all night long. Even wore them for photos where we had to stomp around the Boise Train Depot Park.  This gal inspires me to get out those heels more.

It was really important that we were still able to get some photos of the couple on their special day.  We headed from the hotel to the Depot. To say it was an adventure would be a little bit of an understatement.  We had to park and walk to access the park below the Depot for photos. These were some of my favorite photos from the day.  Everything was still green and beautiful.  Even captured part of the Boise Depot in the background.  From there we visited a local watering hole to grab a pre-wedding shot and get the party started.  

Cassie and Tyler’s Unique Celebration

Cassie had a very unique and a first for me all black wedding.  I have to say I got lucky and wore a black dress! So glad I did.  All of the guests were encouraged to wear black and it was so cool to see.  A photographer definitely could get on board with guests coordinating outfits.  Dinner was served by Horsewood Catering. Honestly some of the best food in the valley! I am always amazed every time I get to see their setup.

Another unique aspect is the announcement of the surprise honeymoon.  What a cool idea, the couple didn’t know where they were going and they had it announced in front of their guests.  There was also cake cutting and lots of dancing.  This was a wedding celebration to remember.  I had the best time documenting it for Cassie and Tyler and I wish them all the adventure out there! Congratulations to this amazing couple.
