It was a gloomy day during this Fall Fox Canyon Vineyard Wedding. The gloom did not mean that it was not magical, it was quite the contrary. Chase and Karen’s wedding was so special in so many ways. Besides I have always heard it is good luck if it rains on your wedding day. It was a downpour, just a fine mist of good luck throughout the whole day. Fox Canyon sits on the cliffs of the Snake River right outside of this VERY small town of Marsing, Idaho. It is also one of my favorite venues in the Treasure Valley. I arrive a tad early to the venue to get started with details before the fine mists starts for the day. Karen really put thought into her details and had them ready and waiting for me. It truly does help get my creativity flowing and it’s a great way for me to start my day. The Love Story Continues
Chase and Karen met years ago and discovered that they had crossed paths in the cities they lived in and the schools they went to over the years.school. Karen said “it was only a matter of time” before they met. The couple started dating in 2019 and Chase proposed last year on a sunset gondola ride on our trip to Venice Italy. These two share a genuine love for eachother and it shined through on their wedding day. There were tears of joy all throughout the day and it was such an amazing thing to witness.
The day went on despite the wetness. It did not matter these two and their friends and family came long distances to celebrate with the couple. The wedding details all came together. The couple shared an intimate first look and private emotional vow reading. They “Iced” their wedding party as a surprise. There was amazing food, laughter and lots and lots of fun dancing. The rain cleared up as the night went on and the party started after dark. These two are celebrating their wedding with an amazing honeymoon overseas. Congratulations to this beautiful couple.
