New Meadows Ranch View Wedding

Justin and Amber’s New Meadows Ranch View Wedding Wedding was a HOT one.  This venue is located in the very small town of New Meadows, Idaho.  It is right outside of McCall.  It is a charming small town community and because of that has a lot of character.  The venue is just a couple minutes from the main street in New Meadows.  It is a rustic Barn and has a beautiful mountain view backdrop for a ceremony.  There was however one downside.  There is NO shade and of course it just happened to be 106 degrees one of the hottest days in recorded history for the little town of New Meadows.

Getting Ready

Amber got ready at a beautiful airbnb with her bridal party.  Talk about a bunch of absolutely gorgeous gals who were so helpful all day. Amber got matching robes for all the girls including the little ones.  I love that she made them feel special as well.  Justin and his guys got ready at the venue they were camping in trailers and were hanging out there all morning.  There was a small space in the barn for the guys to get ready and hang out.

I’d like to compliment everyone.  It was HOT out like extremely hot and all of the wedding party and family were troopers.  I actually think this was the hottest wedding day that I have ever photographed.  Props to the makeup artist. The girl’s makeup held up all day. There was no shade to take bridal party photos and this group rocked them.  We were quick and efficient to get them out of the mid afternoon heat and cool off before the outdoor ceremony.

The ceremony was performed by Justin’s dad.  He gave the neatest history lesson about their ancestors and how many generations they have both been in Idaho. We followed the ceremony with family formals and a yummy dinner by the Rustic Pig.  There were toasts, cake cutting, and magical sunset photos.  Followed by first dances and the traditional tosses.  These two ended the night with a sparkler send off.  I was so glad they decided on sparklers. I haven’t had one in a while and I just love photographing them.  A list of talented vendors involved is at the bottom of the page.
