Idaho Mountain Engagement Session

Hanna and Pop’s Idaho Mountain Engagement Session was an adventure.  Hanna’s mom first emailed about interest in an engagement session since the couple will be eloping in Costa Rica early next year.  Hanna messaged me back and we got them scheduled.  She had already had a location in mind.  I must just add I love it when couples pick the location because normally it has to do with their love of the outdoors or the city vibe.  Hanna was super sweet and we visited on the phone.  She had asked if I minded if we traveled outside of the area.  Her words were somewhere between Banks and Cascade.  Little did I know I was in for an adventure.  With a point on google maps I was off.  It took me a little over 2 hours to get to that point and for a moment in time I was wondering where on earth Google was taking me.  The road was narrow and sandy for a while and the boulders were huge along the river and so much wildlife present.

The Adventure Rocked

The couple brought their furry friends for some photos and we made the hike down the hillside to the water.  These two were naturals during their session.  We laughed and joked and really just had a great time.  They mesh so well together and I enjoyed every moment of hanging out with them.  I often wonder what draws people to me without even knowing me. So glad they put their trust in me to capture such special times in their lives and I am genuinely thankful that I was able to capture this time for them.  They are two of the most genuine people who have many of the same loves as I do.  I can not wait for their wedding in Costa Rica even if I don’t get to adventure with them. Still I know it will be an amazing day for the two of them surrounded by friends and family in one epic celebration of their love for eachother! I also look forward to what’s to come for them and their family and am excited to be a long for the journey! This Idaho Mountain Engagement Session is a favorite of mine.
