Idaho Snowy Winter Elopement
This chilly Idaho Snowy Winter Elopement was beautiful despite the chilly temperatures and wind. I first met during a family session a year and a half ago. I also photographed his brother’s wedding last summer. Click HERE to see that wedding. Nico reached out to me when he and his bride were planning their very intimate December wedding. Both him and Karina live out of state and wanted to run off to Idaho where Nico’s parents live to get married.
The couple got married at the College of Idaho Amphitheater. The guest list was very exclusive to immediate family and the friends that were in the wedding party. The ceremony was beautiful and they exchanged their vows and by the end of it my toes and hands were cold. We did some wedding party photos right there with the snow against the beautiful green backdrop. The florals were done by Gerald with Gerald’s Floral and fit the snowy wintery theme.
After the ceremony we snuck away for some photos of just the bride and groom before we headed to White Dog Brewery in Caldwell for a luncheon. The wind picked up so we were as quick as could be for photos of the two of them. They enjoyed a wonderful lunch and had a couple of toasts to wish the newlyweds the best. I enjoyed seeing this family again for the second time this year and wish these two so much happiness. On a side note I am really loving these very intimate elopements that I have had the opportunity to photograph this year. To see another elopement that I had the honor of photographing click here.
