This Intimate Downtown Boise Elopement was an honor to be a part of. It was a mild winter day with a few rain showers here and there. Hagai and Yedidya traveled here from Israel. They are working on adding an addition to their family. They had a huge celebration planned in their home country however they had to postpone it due to the war in Israel. Many of their friends and family are on the front lines fighting. The couple decided to make it official while they were here in the States. What better place right?. Their family even joined from 1000s of miles away. The culture is much different over in Israel so they were pleasantly surprised that people walking down the street would smile and say hello. I guess it goes to show you never know how far a kind smile and a hello goes.
Perfect Mild Winter Day the Gloom didn’t stop these two
This Elopement in Downtown Boise was very intimate. It was both the grooms and their officiant Courtney and myself. They shared promises to each other in their native language. I could not understand a word of them but I was able to feel the emotion and love they had for one another just by listening. There were tears of joy and laughter. It was truly a one of a kind experience for me. Their family tuned in via zoom and got to witness the special occasion. The only thing that was missing was the snow. Good thing though these two grooms were cold and it was a very mild 50 degrees outside with off and on rain showers. The rain did not stop these two from saying I do however I hear rain brings you the best of luck. Congratulations Hagai and Yedidya. I can not wait to see the journey you have ahead of you.
